Not for ipod or iphone Not for ipod or iphone. When using with 3g iphone 4gen ipod an error message comes up every 2mins saying the device is not supported. No visual ouput works audio works with okay quality charging cord works but is only 8 inches long. Im going to bite the bullet and get the 50 dollar apple brand AV cord again since I know it actually works.
Does Not Work on any iPhone iPad or iPod This item did not work as advertised. I hooked it up to my iPad Gen 2&3 my iPhone and my ipod touch. Message came up stating This accessory not supported by iPad iPod iPhone.
Not bad for the price It is not bad. It works. I thought it would show everything from your Ipad but it doesn't. Only items that are in slide mode Netflix and presenter mode.
hardware not the issue these cables are fine and as has been noted you can get audio with no problem the issue is with video and it is not hardware related. if you are still using iOS4 on your iPad or have a classic iPod this cable will work fine for audio and video. for some reason the latest iOS disables it like it does with a firewire hookup. the problem is on iPads you can't go back to an earlier system. wish they would have let me know before i updated.

False advertising Doesn't Amazon care about all the false advertising that is going on.This product simply is the worst. If I could give it no stars I would.It was a waste of time waiting for it.I could have just gone to the apple store like I'm going to.
Not compatible with IPOD touch or IPHONE 4 Bought to run video to a tv for a crosscountry trip. Description says compatible with IPOD and Iphone. It is not. Not sure what it is compatible with. Did not work with Iphone 4 or Ipod Touch Gen 2.
FeedBack Everything about this product is great except for the fact that when you are watching a video on a T.V. you cannot plug it in to charge or you get a weird feedback. It's slightly annoying but worth it.
