    • Great Radio This radio needs a kit to install it in most cars. Mine went in without a hitch and works great. I realy like the USB port feature because I can put several CD's on one USB stick and have several hours of music without changing anything.

Es preferible poner un poco mas de usd y comprar un producto de mejor calidad.
    SOSO Okay for the price. Sometime playing a cd I can hear the radio. Maybe it was hooked up wrong great for the price. Place movies when it wants. I would buy again in a rush.
    Nice Deck I have been using this deck for a couple weeks now and it has performed all the duties that I bought it for. I can connect through the bluetooth in my iphone and listen to music through my radio wirelessly as well as use the speakers to hear my phone call. The only negative about this specific item is the bright blue color it can be distracting at night while driving.
    a big thumbs DOWN This is my second unit after T had to send back the first one due to a broken wire at the back of one of the connectors right out of the box. I'll be sending back the second unit now because the internal cooling fan whines for a minute when its first turned on in the morning and now it randomly switches from radio mode to usb mode.The pros Its a fine boat anchor and a great way to throw away that extra money.The cons 1The units interface is complicated and the operating manuel ls lacking. 2If you have a chevy pickup or any chevy that has the same dash as my 2001 silverado does you will find that this unit's screen will not clear the shifter with the vechicle in PARK. 3While playing a IPOD shuffle the unit display's the songs on the screen by their FILENAMES in the ipod makeing it very difficult to find that song your looking for. 4unit has basic the bare minimum adjustments fadebalancetreblebass. None of which control the sub preout. 5To my knowledge this unit has basically nothing nice to display while it plays mp3s. Stare at the folders and files or turn off the screen seems to be the only 2 options.

    • Would no give this to my worst Enemy In writing this dealing with amazon and the store that sent this was great fast and packaged great For the head unit run as far away as you can from this thing it is junkGood thing about this is the Bluetooth is great its fast connect straight away you can even download your phone book to the head unit.Everything else sux big timeWorst is the time it takes to change tracks from any usb or ipod average is about 40 seconds between songs??? 40 FREAKING SECONDS TO CHANGE A TRACKNOT AN ALBUM A TRACK but even better it doesnt select the track you want it just picks the first song from the top folder about 99% of the time!! why i dont know i tried it across 3 ipod/iphone and 5 usb sticks usb 2.0 and usb 3.0?I have always held Sony in high regard with head units and made the mistake of not reading other reviews and that was my biggest mistake.
    Great car stereo. Installed easy because of the good instruction manual. We are very happy with the stereo and would recommend it to anyone looking for a Bluetooth stereo.ProsSounds great.Bluetooth hands free and audio streaming work great.Different phones can be configured for each Bluetooth function.ConsAs another review has mentioned some push button responses can be slow i.e. tuner preset menu but not so slow as to be a real problem.No tuner scan button.Graphics could be better e.g. more color more use of 3d shading.
    Excellent Head Unit The Sony XAV72BT Head Unit was a perfect fit for my 09 Nissan Altima Coupe. It's sleak and sexy and provides excellent hearing quality for MP3s DVDs CDs and iPods. My main motivator for purchasing this unit was to replace a Pioneer AVHP4300DVD unit. The XAV72BT's main feature was the built in bluetooth and gesture controls. The XAV72BTs BT stack 2.0+ EDR interfaces very well with a Samsung Galaxy Nexus CDMA phone and was able to transfer the phonebook from the cellular without locking up. The microphone is clean and provides very little in background noise to the person you are speaking with on a phone call.I was able to install this unit myself after spending time on a few Metra websites to figure out the wiring layout. It is fairly straightforward to install if you follow the diagram included in the packaging and know your vehicles harness wire configuration. If you are unfamiliar with car audio installation spend a lot of time doing research before attempting to install it yourself.Some additional things to note during this installation1. I implemented an Axxess ASWC Universal Steering control unit which interfaced perfectly with the preinstalled Factory Steering remote control.2. I attempted to install the PAC TR7 for DVD video bypass and to avoid drilling through the firewall and tapping in to the handbrake wire. Unfortunately the TR7 while mostly universal this unit worked on the Pioneer AVHP4300 HU I had previously installed it does not work with the XAV72BT. Instead simply GROUND the Parking Brake light green wire to the chassis and you'll be good to go.3. The XAV72BT already comes with an installed USB cord if you need to snake a longer one I recommend a 3' USB Belkin Extension cord
    great head unit with one flaw! I've been using this unit for about a week now. So far I'm very satisfied with my purchase.The unit's hooked up to Focal Polyglass component coaxial and 12 shallow sub through Alpine 4 and mono channel amps. multiple equalizer settings including manual adjustment and time alignment definitely help a lot fine tuning sound for my taste. I bought this to replace 2010 Kenwood singleDIN CD player with bluetooth. I never knew replacing head unit could drastically change sound quality. I drive a small hatchback and now it feels like I'm in Suburban. Sony somehow brings wider bigger soundstage than other units from different manufacturers. I've had Clarion Fujitsu Ten Eclipse A/V units along with Pioneer Panasonic and Kenwood CD players. Sony definitely brings different kind of sound to the cabin. I mean it in a good way. Bluetooth works like charm. About a sec after turning on ignition my iphone's paired up with the unit and ready to go. Playing music wirelessly sounds amazing and there's no hint of any sound loss. Video files stored in my phone play with good picture clarity. This is a great A/V player with amazing sound staging and great bluetooth functionality with one flaw! Many reviewers mentioned about lag jumping from one page to another. For example let's say just finished talking to my friend using bt then I wanna listen to a specific song there are about 4 different pages I have to go through and there are about 23 sec. pause every in between. So there would be 10 to 15 sec. total in delay time whenever I wanna do something else. but can't think of any other A/V players in the market that are quicker in response time than the Sony one. So for first time A/V unit buyers expecting Apple iphone kind of response from head unit you guys are out of luck for now until new breakthrough technology's introduced to the market. For ones willing to put up with lag but looking for good sound improvement along with hassle free bt function this unit is the way to go.

      • Best value for the money I purchased this unit 2 weeks ago for 199.99 and have been very satisfied.I matched this to a scosche adapter kit for my car and it took about 20 minutes to get it installed and working and all the colors even matched.I have read reviews of people having problems viewing videos and USB functions because of the parking brake featureif you are unable to locate the parking brake wire you can just splice that wire with the ground wire and it will work perfectly.Disclaimer please have enough common sense to not watch videos while you are driving.
      Great unit if you install right I have not had the above problems if you call tech support you will find that the park brake wire must be connected or grounded to make the dvd player work.It is against the law to watch a dvd in a moving vehicle. My sd card works faster than a cd but the sd card menu is hard to read and ONLY a 30 warranty.Still for the options you get its a good dealconsidering some other makers want $600. for the dvd player only.
      Disappointing First one the cd player did not work. second one the cd player worked but on both units the SD card was super slow. You could not scroll thru the list of songs or it will lock up. Average wait time between songs was about 20 seconds if you just let it go thru the list itself. Screen is blurry to where you cannot read the list of songs displayed. Since I was using this in my truck I thought the rear monitor would be nice but again disapointing.
      Great DVD Player This has got to be the best value in dash DVD on the market! Its got DVD CD Divx SD and USB. Its got a great color screen Its easy to use.. Easy to install and the help desk was great when I needed them to help. Love it to death.
      Best Choice I bougth this item almost 8 months ago & i keep fascinated. One of the best item i had shop.
      No Luck The cd player and sd does NOT work.The only thing that works is the USB memory stick reader andthe radio. No luck getting in touch with tech support. Emailedthem 2 days ago and have been trying by phone.

      • VERY COOL THIS HEAD UNIT WAS COOL. THE INTERFACE DOES NOT SEEM CHEAP AND IT IS VERY EASY TO USE. IT HAS MANY FUNCTIONS AND SOUNDS GREAT. I WAS ONLY BUMMED OUT ABOUT SOME OF THE FEATURES WHICH IT DID NOT SPECIFY HOW TO WORK. FOR EXAMPLE THE TV HOW DO YOU HOOK THAT UP? NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DO IT. THE BIGGEST REASON WHY I BOUGHT THIS UNIT WAS BECAUSE OF THE DETACHABLE FACE PLATE A LITTLE BIG TO CARRY AROUND BUT AT LEAST YOU HAVE THAT OPTION.
      I thought this radio was a better then it really is I have bought many things by Amazon and this is probably the first time do not like something. I can say I expected more from BOSS and this product.ProsThe DVDradio has features which work fine for example the Bluetooth Aux Radio DVD and USB.ConsThe Grafical User interfaceGUI does not look that good at least in comparation to the Pioneer Radios.The Radio did not fit the 2 DIM perfectly in my carToyota Corolla 2004 so a lot of extra work had to be done and at the end it did not look nice in my Dash. Because of this the screen is not easily detachable.When the front lights of the car are on the radio just does not work at all it shows a blue screen and not only the DVD but also the other features are not available. This just sucks.Being honest I would not have bought this product if I had known all the mentioned problems even though it is cheaper then other brands. I wish Amazon had shown videos or pictures of this product working on a actual car.
      Very good unit for the price I purchased this unit for my wifes Pontiac G6 this should be installed professionally or a very good skilled installer. The metra double dash kit will work but it has to be altered with a rotary tool since this is an oversized double din unit the cheaper 2pc double din dash kits will not fit. Overall this is a featured pack sleak device and for the money you cannot go wrong. I want to make it clear its not a JVC best detachable face unit but its also half the price of a JVC with similar features..I would know since I have a JVC double din detachable face unit in my car. The music sound of the unit is very good. Bluetooth works perfectly better than my JVC 840.Although the features do not indicate this head unit will stream music from your bluetooth phone as well.

        • crap/decent This double din has a good look to it but the fact is when it got to my house and i hooked it up the cd player did not work nor did it play movies from my sd card. All around crap on a + side it looks decent and plays music from my card but anything can do that.
        good buy great price dont resist Just bought last Sunday. Shipping was beyond fast and came in great condition.If you buy the right wiring harness receiver and kit installation is a breeze. The backup camera isn't to hard to install either. Pretty much plug and play. You have to hard wire to the reverse lights and buy and extra long wire to run to the back of the car for the backup camera 12v switch.which means when the reverse light gets power it turns on the backup camera video automatically.Sounds greatVery easy to useVery easy to installLooks cartoonish not factory at all but all in all for the price I would recommend it to the cows come home.
        Good Value for the price I purchased this item to replace the builtin stereo in a recently acquired 5th wheel RV. Cost much less than factory replacement stereo. Sounds much better. Also includes DVD playing ability.
        Ok for now Plays okthe background pics are horrible and u can't change them. When first installed played dvds but usb didn't work at all. After awhile dvd only plays sounds no picturescan't find settings to fix.
        Not too bad but not great either. I purchased this unit due to the clean exterior with minimal blue backlit buttons. When it wow factor this is not the unit for that. It has a lot of features but the actual software is basic bare bones. You have your usual bass treble fade and such but no screensaver and no animations. The thermostat looking volume indicator is cartoonish. I love the body of this one but the software of the PLD70BT is better. I will review that later. This one I could never get the RDS functions to work. So I just said forget it. The remote is pretty flat and not too big. Like a long credit card but thicker and the buttons flatter that typical tv remotes. Otherwise if you want a good touch screen and are using it for basics or with a back up camera. This is not bad but don't expect really nice display or great looking backgrounds.
        luks gud in da dash the screen luks gud in the dash o/s is a lil dumb. no clock wen listening to cdcds r only playable thru dvd mode. it takes about 5 sec's load loadit sounds alot betta than stock beautiful picture i dont think u can change the stupid background imageits the only thing seen while playin cds. the day i putt it in i got alotta of props frum friend and random people. sturdy piece of equipment. overall i lik it but im already plannin on gettin a better one. oh yeah and i installed it in a 05 impala it just barely fit no room of brackets or mounting kit. only other thing i needed was the wiring harrness and anntena adapter. oh yeah and i been playin wit it all day and still cant get the bluetooth to wrk ok i got the bluetooth workin. it works great i had to change some setings on my phone. i gve this product and 4 outta 5.

        Horrible. I did some research and settled on this headunit. I knew that based on the cost i was not getting the ultra high end unit but for what i needed it was perfect.I recieved the unit with very little protection infact amazon just through it in a box with no padding at all. just the device box thrown in a amazon boxI took the radio to a professional install shop I figured with the money i saved on the headunit I would have someone install for me.When unpackaging the unit they found no cage and that all the buttons on the front DID NOT WORK. So i contacted amazon for a replacement which they sent me got it in 2 days went back to the shop and after they had this one installed found the the motor controlling the flip down face did not work So I am returning everything and went with a kenwood i found on clearence.DO NOT BUY this is a terrible unit as far as quality the sound was mediocore and it is very bulky for the install the adapters you have to use are rediculous it doesnt have a standard 3.5mm aux input it has a 2.5mm so you have to use the enclosed adapter. the usb portis some kind of off the wall size that you have to use another adapter for.
        Not terrible but below average I've had this in my car for two months now. On the plus side DVD playback is good excellent screen good on screen controls. But every new disk you put in it defaults to closed captions being on and there's no way on the screen to turn that off you have to use the remote so keep it handy.On the minus side the USB connector is some incredibly tiny thing and I can't figure out what cable it takes its smaller than the miniUSB maybe its a micro but it looks even smaller than those. I guess the IPOD is supposed to hook through there? Because there is no other port but I've not found an IPOD to micro USB A or B cable for sale anywhere on line.And don't bother with the manual its a pile of broken English that makes no sense whatsoever.Bluetooth worked great on this unit for about a month and then mysteriously stopped working. Go figure.Volume for CD and DVD playback is pretty low I didn't use an amp but will probably have to add one.Oh and one more pet peeve the mute button is right next to the eject and they're all the same size. So you reach for the mute instead you get the CD or DVD ejected and the radio plays.
