Power Acoustik PADVD 220 Single Player # months old and deck does not work

Not too bad. I bought one of these as a second stand alone receiver for our minivan. It's hooked up to a twenty inch flipdown and doesn't play through the vehicle speakers. We just play DVDs and ripped video files on it. So far it's worked well for over two months. I like the way it looks. It's easy enough to use. Whenever you put new media in it starts playing right away. This works well in our setup.There are two things that I don't like about it. One is the detachable face. I've had around 15 different detachable radios. This one is terrible. You'd be better off if you never take it off. You have to push it securely to close it after putting a disk in. I don't take it off anyway though. The second problem that does affect the functionality in my application is the smooth buttons on the face. It's quite easy to push the wrong thing in a moving vehicle. These touch sensitive buttons seem to be the trend but they don't work so great in cars.

dissapointed You get what you pay for so don't expect this unit to perform for you and exceed your expectations. My major problem with this item is that I'm having trouble paying MP3s from disk and USB. The deck will only play one track or file then repeat. A email to Customer service not Amazon has netted no response in 2 days. Also I should mention the the FM tuner is absolutley horrible.
