Pyle PLFMP3 Car Player Modulator Dysfunctional and cheap
Decent USB player. Love the FM frequency memory and last played song memory.Screen was hard to read and does not give much detail on the song being played.
Works Great This seems to work well. There is the issue that if your sound files are in seperate folders there are all put together. I would also like to make two points that are not noted anywhere.Battery for the remote CR2025 3VFuse which they give you one extra F0.5AL250VAlso I would like to agree that the screen is hard to read and good luck trying to drive and read that tiny screen at the same time. However if you just want to listen to some songs on a radio and all you have is a jump drive it seems to work fine.
not a good item Ordered a usb and a sd card and recieved a usb only. does not work all the time. Can't find file most of the time.
You get what you pay for. This Fm transmitter only has a spot for USB flash drive not for SD cards. The remote sucks you have to point it right at the face of the transmitter and press the buttons real hard. It's difficult to get the songs in side of a folder to play in order. You can here a little static in the background when playing music. The overall feel of it is cheap plastic. Besides that it plays just fine.
Stopped working after 10 minutes Worked fine for 10 minutes got out of the car returned and would not turn on again changed the fuse NADA. Do not purchase major cheapo product. Shell out some extra cash and buy something decent.
It has the features I need This trasmitter has a memory function for tracks and for frecuency. So when you start it it resume the track you was listening the last time and remember the frecuency band yuo was using in the radio. Price is low.
Dysfunctional and cheap I finally took it out of the box and loaded a USB Flash drive up with 2Gigs of music. It worked but after powering it up 510 seconds later the left channel fades out and only the right one produced sound. Took it to another car and it did the same thing and broadcast stations do not loose their left channel so this one is a bad one. Seems like the quality is a little lower than reasonable.

Chuck Its ok.It takes a long time to load. Its like turning on a computer. The picture is pretty clear.The face looks cheap.I would not buy it again. It was not what I was looking for.
works great I have had this radio in for about a week and it works great. the radio can read up to a 16gb sd card so I can watch hours of music videos non stop.
Just The FM it's not that good I like it but the must important about this item is that the fm transmitter get a lot of static looses the signal ease and clarity so I was expecting something more it's a average product.
Worth it. Affordable nice product so i accidently bought a used product that was rated like new which is exactly what i recieved. Minus a box the stereo came with all original materials. I installed myself which was very easy to do on my 97 honda civic. I have only had this for a couple days so far but even that i love it. It works smooth and is not loud when car is turned off. the video quality is pretty good also. The only thing i see wrong with it is that the controls or touch buttons dont seem to high tech. From other systems i have seen this ones buttons looks like clip art from microsoft. although this is easily forgettable when you see the responsiveness from the touch screen. the bluetooth is also pretty sweat. i havent received the ipod cable yet so i have had to use my iphone 4 via bluetooth to play music. i didnt think it would have been as good of quality as it is however it is very nice. another problem i have found was that when talking on the phone people say that it sounds like i am talking really loud even when i am barely speaking. idk if there is a way to turn the mic level down but if there is let me know. besides that i love this headunit and am very impressed for the price and what i got with the stereo.

This is MY Headunit! I'm in love with this multimedia headunit! I can do everything on this thing! GPS Live TV Bluetooth Media Streaming via Bluetooth Play DVDsetc! One thing I find great is you can set a background on the display. Has so many inputs and outputs. I have my whole system amplified via Front Rear and Sub amps so I can't say how the sound quality through the builtin amp is.

Check Kenwood's site carefully before ordering for your stereo I was considering the purchase of a new car stereo and decided to check out Amazon too before ordering. This external microphone also turned up in the search results since it specifically includes the model in question Kenwood KDCBT648U. I found a great deal on a refurbished unit elsewhere and then proceeded to order the microphone from Amazon based on the listing. Once both packages arrived I found that my unit does not in fact support an external microphone despite the description saying that it FITS ALL THE LATEST KENWOOD BLUETOOTH UNITS.I cannot speak to the quality of the microphone itself as I was not able to evaluate it but double check compatibility as the listing is misleading. Unfortunately now I also have to exchange the stereo too as all of the negative reviews were related to the builtin bluetooth microphone. I thought that I was addressing that issue with this microphone only to find out that I should have never trusted a third party seller's description.

Best bang for the buck This is a good value in dash receiver for the money. I bought mine through Amazon and installed it in a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. I wanted the screen mostly to connect a rearview camera to assist when trailering a boat and ensuring I don't back into anybody when parking or in reverse.There are some good and bad things about this radio. The good the tuner is incredibly sensitive and very clear. The onboard amplifier drives the 4 51/4'' Kickers in the doors without any struggle cleanly. The touchscreen works fine and is easy to use.
Products Sucks This product is not worth what they charge bluetooth continually drops out MP3 tags dosent show properly Really just worthless. Best Shop customer service was awfull never reponded to my emails.
Mixed feelings ok as far as i have seen the receiver is NOT touchscreen. it does play USB drives with no problems the Ipod controls are useless. Its very hard to see the names of the songs on the screen. there are no rear usb connections..I had a Kenwood receiver before and my car has a very good sound system installed. This receiver does not provide the same quality of sound the Kenwood receiver does specially at high volume.the Bluetooth works wonderfully it connects to my Android as soon as I turn on the car I can use voice recognition apps on my android through the mic. Call quality is definetly pretty good and all the people I have called tell me that quality on their side is good as well. I can also play music over Bluetooth from my phone which is a big plus. I can also play videos from my phone or youtube and have the sound come from the receiver.
Was Skeptical But this blew me away I put this deck in my 2003 Toyota Corolla CE in 2008 and it is very nice. All of the inputs and outputs work flawlessly. My primary reason for getting this was Auxin and it works smashingly. I adapted the RCA to phono and put the headphone out from my phones and mp3 players without incident. The installation was super easy and the manual is very detailed. Every wire is labeled and easily recognizable. This is a perfect deck to put in if you are a novice car modder.The power output is very nice without getting distorted. It is very loud and you have to watch that you won't blow your speakers if yours are not rated for 45w. My car has 2x5.5s in the front and 2x6x9s in the rear and this drives them beautifully.It will recognize mp3 cds and dvds. It will play all it's supported file types off of any of the media it can load. It has to scan usb devices every time it starts up or they are plugged in so you are advised to leave that to thumb drives. The sd card slot however doesn't have to be rescanned unless the sd card is taken out so a very large sd card can be loaded up with lots of music. It supports SDHC and micro sd with an adapter tested with 8 gig sdhc. If you have a multipurpose thumb drive music data pictures movies it may not always work. Some files that could run on windows will trip up this deck and have it just not recognize your files. I haven't tried it with any drives with multiple partitions.I have taken an audio book I own and ripped it to mp3s then loaded them all up on one DVD and this played just fine and kept my place between car start/stops.

Steer Clear or Prepare to be Robbed and Disappointed! This was my first Power Acoustik radio purchase. My friends told me stick to the big guys like JVC and Pioneer and I would now recommend to anyone looking at this heap of garbage to do the same. The product description looks amazing and the feature set seems almost too good to be true. I don't even have any good things to list about this so I'm just going to list the bad.1. The IR port broke after 90 days. You'll realize how important that IR port is the first time you try to turn the volume up by swirling around on the terrible touch panel.2.
so far so good i like the unit so far. nice size screen and ok graphics. the sound is great. i have tried the radio ipod DVD aux mp3 and have my Sirius radio hooked up to the AV input and everything sounds great except on the Sirius i get some slight feed back when i accelerate the vehicle. i was going to get the Navi box for the GPS but you cannot listen to music if you are using it. so i will keep using my Garmin also the other issue i have is with the ipod cable it will not charge the ipod. i have only tried the bluetooth a couple of times it seems to be working well so far.i recommend this unit if you do not mind no music if you hook up the GPS.
some features ok some totally lame. crashes often There are very few things that work well on this unitFile management is idiotic. It cant show more than about 15 characters of a folder / song title as it the layout is side by side and based on all the same generic software used by dp video sumas and so many others.Most annoying and useless key function is the volume control! You have to spin your finger in a circle clockwise/counter clockwise to adjust the volume!! I mean who was the engineer that thought that was cool? Guess they never thought this would be in a moving environment but even stationary it is so awkward.There are so many things I don't like/dont work I would love to add to this later.

Nz500 review Well i am happy with this unit although like everyone else i to have some issue's with this unit.
Great improvement! We had the previous model which did not have iphone integration. This unit supports it as well as providing a phone dial menu and full bluetooth support including music as well as contacts and phone log.Sound is good. We had one small problem with space of deck and wire harness but this was solved with a deck spacer which pushes the deck about 1/2 inch out of dash problem solved.GPS is okay suitable for most uses. Wish more frequent updates.
Great deal for the price
Excellent system for showcar I purchased this system for my 1971 Corvette back in Sept of 2010 and just got around to installing it. I paid much more at that time than it is going for now but it's still a great value. I use my GPS frequently to get to out of the area car show sites and to find resturants gas stations etc. and it has been flawless. I've never tried to find a Lowes but all else seems to be there. I'm not a great installer but this was straight forward and the wiring diagrams are easy to follow with colored wires to match up with even my older wiring. I also purchased the Sirus radio add on as well as a Pyle backup camera and they too went in easy and everything worked the first time. I had to locate both the GPS and Sirus antena modules on my dash but they work fine thru the windshield. Lots of info on line about it and the installation tricks..
Spent 1/2 day installing spent the next 1/2 uninstalling I was really excited to get this unit and did 'some' research and talked with the various vendors and decided it was time to pull the trigger. I figured at $499 down from $799 it had to be the 'real deal' as far as quality and features. Well I was wrong. I spent the day doing a VERY clean install in my 2006 Dodge Viper to then turn on the unit once installed and realize it 'seems kind of cheap' the push buttons below the screen make a PLASTIC CLICKING/RUBBING on all buttons sound like your playing with some 2 year old's 'made in china' toy. I moved on telling myself the lie that it would 'wear itself in and stop making that noise' after some use.
Terrible System Terrible.
my rating for it is ehhhit's an ok unit I have had the clarion in dash unit for about a month now and i like it but it has many minor issues that irritate me a lot. i hate that the display mode changes whenever the volume is adjusted i prefer to have my display set to show the song title whenever the screen is closed instead of the track number and length. i wish the volume when you turn your car ignition on would GRADUALLY increase instead of resume at the previous volume since it literally takes about 10 seconds for music to resume and it catches you by surprise at least that's the case when using a USB. i absolutely hate that when i add new songs onto my track listing via USB the unit reorders my track listings so whenever i sync a full album to USB the first half of the album track listing is listed AFTER the last half sometimes. i dont understand why it does that but it's annoying because i cant just listen to the album in its original track listing order. i am also curious on how i can reorder songs on the unit in alphabetical order or some sort of customized order. as far as the bluetooth i havent had any issues with it i like it. takes a while to sync contacts though. the Navigation works good in Hawaii but i have trouble inputting exact addresses because it tries to guess which letters you want to select next after you input half of the actual word and sometimes it doesnt list an option that matches your actual address. that happens a lot when i try to type in the house number as well. i paid $800 for mine because Hawaii is overpriced but i think it's only worth about $400 to $500. 3 stars.
Clarion NZ500 The radios does perform well. The only problem I found was with the Bluetooth firmware which need to be updated if you are using an iPhone hence need to do so asap. Also after the update you may find that at times the Bluetooth will pick up an incoming call the music will still be playing while you're on the phone just hit the reset button in front of the unit. You will need to redo your stations that's all.
The Clarion NZ500 has it all! The Clarion NZ500 has it all built in Navigation and Bluetooth iPod and iPhone connectivity HD Radio ready Rear Vision Camera input rear USB connector and Sirius ready. I had it installed in a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It looks good sounds good and has a crisp clear picture. I'm extremely happy with it.
Clarion NZ500..not worth the money Bought the Clarion NZ500 about a month ago and quite frankly it is not worth the money. The most aggravating points about the unit are the fact that the Navigation system is very difficult to use and would get lost in a turnip patch. Secondly if you use this unit on a sunny day it will virtually be a blank screen from the drivers seat. The screen virtually disappears if you wear polarized sun glasses as well. It works well with the iPod has good sound quality but the menu's are difficult to understand and worse to navigate especially if you can't see the screen. I originally looked at a Pioneer double din unit and wish now I had installed that instead. The Bluetooth function works very well from my limited use and connects perfectly with my Sanyo cell phone including the contact list and MP3 media. In summary my main beef is with the GPS unit and the fact that the screen is terrible on a sunny day.
