Junk! You get what you pay for. I am sure this one is just as much a piece of junk as the other two models I have owned. See review of Boss BV9555 these things use common components and software so I would not expect this model to be much if any better.

Boss bv9993 This in dash DVD player is very good for the price excellent sound and clear display but have NOT a buildin Bluetooth and the touch display is not so good also have support for upgrade for TV anyway is worth for the price.
Wow for the price I paid for it it stop working in 2 weeks. The tv screen was stuck.It was just horrible.
A decent touchscreen car radio for a low price. I was looking for a new radio to replace my old stock for my 2001 hyndai sonata. I was researching for a month at least. I just could not decide whether I should save 50 dollars and get a 1 DIN after class radio that has the standard things that I would need or go all out and get what a really wanted which was a 1 DIN pull out touchscreen like the one in my dad's truck. I could have gotten rid of the storage space and put a 2 DIN touchscreen but I decided against that because 1 I wanted the storage space very much. And 2 I didn't want people seeing that I had a touchscreen in my dash or else they'd be very tempted to steal it. So in the end I settled on this radio. The Boss BV9993. It has ALMOST all the features I wanted in a touchscreen. Everything EXCEPT navigation. When I was looking up the features I asked over and over again if it was navigation ready and never received an answer. Well for all who are wondering.

great product This product is everything I hoped for. The monitor resolution could be higher and there could be more shortcut buttons have to press the screen 5 times to turn off the subwoofer or 5 times to choose song repeat but having an indash cd/dvd changer is sweet. The graphics are cool and sound quality it great. I have a sexy car and this fits right in.Cons doesn't seem to be an hd radio doesn't display full song or artist names if they are long not even scrolling.
Pretty nice.. I definitely like this unit. It's large and works well no problems yet whatsoever. My only gripes and they are small are that the touch screen is not as responsive as I would like and that the displays contrast ratio is low so watching movies during the daytime isn't really an option.
Great Value For Money I installed this in my Subaru Forester 2009. It did what they said it would. It is very user friendly and the sharpness of the display is impressive. I am completely satisfied.

Handsome unit but lacking in basic functionality The Pioneer AVHP6000DVD is a handsome unit and fit well in the overall design of the dash of my '05 Nissan 350Z. Since I already have a navigation system this unit provided me with what was missing from the OEM system. What I was looking for most was the ability to have an iPod interface bluetooth and rear camera access. Luckily for me I found this unit on Amazon for a much cheaper than retail price since I had to actually pay for all of these options by way of add on components. Basically nothing I was looking for was built into the unit.The bluetooth works well and provides crisp clear conversations even in my roadster version of the Z! The additional road noise doesn't seem to be picked up by the other party. While it can pair with multiple phones it assigns address books that are downloaded to the phone it got it from instead of one that can be used universally with any of the paired phones you have in the system. I just got an iPhone and haven't figure out how to down load the address book/contacts versus the straight forward method for my Blackberry. What would be nice is an option to manually add entries to an address book that could be used by any of the paired phones.

Great Value This Metra harness is made for most older single din pioneer head units had three older 2 5 yrs old Pioneer head units I needed to sell and install. Somehow is built better than Pioneers universal harness. Has an added plastic cover for the fuse underneath plug on head unit that doubles as a way to get the plug out of the head unit the Pioneer ones are a huge pain to remove sometimes. Durability of wires is double of Pioneers harness and twice the gauge.
NOT Universal This UNIVERSAL harness is Not for all Pioneer Units. They should give more detailed discription of this Harness and what Pioneer unit it fit's on.
Universal is not universal As has been commented on by others and sadly too late for me to investigate prior to ordering but the connector is not compatible with the Pioneer unit I have.
Fit perfect fit perfect into my stereo. No issues if you know what part you need. dont just guess. came with a guide to line up the wires and came here 2 days before it was supposed to.
Universal doesn't fit all Wrong plug didn't fit my DEHP2000. Now I have a plug I don't need so its going into the garage junk drawer where extra parts that will never get used hang out. I'm glad it was only a few dollars though.
Aside from poor application information A perfect match for the stock Pioneer harness that comes with a bunch of Pioneer units. Wiring colors are dead on pin assignments are exact. Too bad they didn't take the time to do references to the Pioneer p/n or even try to tell buyers which Pioneer units they are exact replacements for. They'd have a TON of business. I did it by careful evaluation and a bit of guessing it should be much easier to research!For the record it is an exact replacement for the F700BT Nav System and DEHP590IB head unit. Both of these share this same harness with a ton of other units. I'll let some salesman or eBay seller research them all. Someone who has time should!That said don't pay Pioneer $50 or more for this. Don't pay eBay'ers $25+. I bought several just so I could have them onhand for when I eventually move on to newer equipment and want to be able to offer my electronics to new users they way I got them when I bought them. SO much easier than trying to reuse old stuff.
Not so Universal I bought this Harness thinking i was gonna hook up my Pioneer Radio but the main receiver plugs where on the opposite side so now it's just pointless to have & i dont no what todo with it. Maybe i could've done more research or the description on the harness was off a little.

its alright if its the right connector purchased item and received it at a decent time for standard shipping. The item is what it is but the only downfall is that it didn't fit my particular model of pioneer. I think it would had helped if there was a listing of what kind of pioneer models it fitted. Cause now i have a wiring harness that doesn't fit my Pioneer 2000MP head unit.
mismatched I am guessing that pioneer has a multiple different wireharnesses and this one does not match my premier model.

Awesome! 14 Watt RMS and 40watt peak. This deck is very nice and inexpensive. I have had it for almost a year now and it hasn't ever disappointed me. Wish it was a little more powerful but I got an amp anyways to power my speakers.
Outstanding Tuner Good Power Excellent Value I bought this unit to replace the factory AM/FM cassette unit that came with my 2004 Dodge Dakota so I could get CD and MP3 capability. The sound quality is excellent there's plenty of power 4 X 50 watts to drive the stock speakers and a reasonable number of settings to tweak the audio. I was very pleased to discover that you can set the clock to stay onthe display will change as needed for other functions but if you don't touch any controls it will revert back to the clock after 25 seconds.Pioneer has a reputation for highquality FM tuners in their car receivers and the DEH1300MP is no exception. It pulls in a remarkable number of stations that nothing else I've owned except other Pioneers can match a nice feature in such an inexpensive unit.It plays 128k and 256k CBR MP3s with no issues that's all I've thrown at it so far. It picks up ID3 tags and you can display your choice of Artist Album Track etc.A couple of minor gripes The red illumination takes a little getting used to. Also there are small icons illuminated for each button but since most buttons control more than one feature you'll still need other lighting to read the tiny legends next to the buttons. The installation instructions are disappointingly sparse and the manual is printed in very small text. This isn't a major fault as you can easily find a downloadable copy of the manual in PDF format.As a side note this installation was a little tricky since the Dakota takes a little more disassembly than some other similar Dodge products and the proprietary antenna connector is a pain to remove without breaking it. None of that is Pioneer's fault of course but if you happen to be installng a unit in a Dakota you might want to Google some installation tips before you begin.The overall look and feel of the receiver is solid.
great low price stereo great bang for your buck strong loud clear and in every way awesome. purchased for my 92 f250 i have 6 door speakers and 6x9 speakers behind the seat man does it sound good.
Works Great This Deck works great. I have a '94 Toyota Pickup and aside from taking the entire dash apart it was easy to install. I installed my own speaker wire into the car for the new coaxial Pioneer speakers I bought with it and I had no problems with it. It works good with my Blackberry Pearl that I use for media with a 3.5mm jack but I haven't used it for radio at all as I don't have an antenna installed. The installation was easy and it is easy to see. It lights up well but it's not distractingly bright. The only complaints I have with it is that the display switches back and forth between AUX which is what I use and the clock. I often have to press the clock button to see the time but it's not all that big of a deal. The other complaint I have is that it was a pain to set the clock as I actually had to google how to set it up. With the power on but the car not running click and hold the volume knob in until it turns off then release press and hold it again and it will turn back on and the clock will blink. You then use the up and down arrows to set the time and use the right and left arrows to switch between minutes and hours. When you've set the time simply press the clock button and it will set. Overall the deck works dandy and well worth the $60 I paid for it. I would reccomend this deck for anybody who is looking for one on a budget and looking for a great product. It dosen't have USB but if you don't use it it's not an issue anyway.
Great receiver for the price This receiver was placed in a field tractor and has phenomenal radio reception considering the lousy antenna on the tractor. The remote control works nicely from pretty sharp angles to the face of the unit. The display is easy to read. Only complaint might be that the when you use the up and down station buttons it scrolls through your memory presets but only on the particular band you are on. So like it will go through the 6 stations on FM 1 but will not kick over to FM 2 as you scroll. It just take you back to the first preset on FM 1. The turn nob volume is nice and pressing it allows you to change from radio to auxillary to CD and it won't select the CD input unless there is a CD in the player.Overall I love the radio and for the price I don't think you can go wrong.

Good for a little while I purchased this unit a little under a year ago from WalMart and had it professionally installed into my 90 Honda Civic at a car audio place. It was a good little unit until about a week ago when I noticed that no sound was coming out of the car speakers when using the AUX port. Sound still came out of the speakers when using the CD or Tuner functions. I first thought it might be a bad AUX cable so I bought a new cable. Still no sound out of the speakers. Maybe it was the AUX port on my cell phone. Hooked my cell phone up to the JVC unit in my second car using an AUX cable and it worked fine. Maybe a wire came loose somewhere? I took it back to the audio installation shop who rewired everything but still no sound out of the AUX port. They came to the conclusion that the AUX port on the Pioneer faceplate was bad. They said it might have worn out from the AUX cable being unplugged repeatedly but I never removed the AUX cable from the faceplate.Unfortunately I did not hold on to the receipt for this Pioneer unit and I will just have to purchase another new unit. I am pretty bummed out since a Pioneer unit I had in another car lasted many years and is actually still being used in my friend's car.I might actually end up purchasing this unit again since it is only $60 and the audio installation place said that if I get the exact same Pioneer unit they will remove the old one and install the new one for free.

Capital G garbage Stay away from this unit. If I could rate it zero stars I would. Hard to read buttons. Very nonintuitive and mediocre sound to start. Then the right speaker went out then the MP3 input failed. You get what you pay for. I should have invested extra money and avoided this POS.

Nice little player I purchased this little player because of the size and price. It is a bit cheaply made but does the job and I have not had any problem with it so far. It reminds me of the old portable radios that my family had as a kid with the exception of having a CD player which I really like.

lasted almost 5 years This worked really well for four and a half years. The CD portion now doesn't work reliably. I bought this to take to the hospital for my daughter's birth in 2007 and it fit nicely in my bag. The sound is good for the price and the size is great. Good find but wish it lasted longer. Usually keep it in the kitchen because it fit nicely under the ledge of the bar and didn't take up much counter space.
Just what I needed I was looking for a small cd player to play misuc for my babies. This was perfect! small enough works well light and most importantly makes me play those CDs that I haven't played in a long time you know once you own and ipod and its speakers.

Wonderful Product Wonderful Service! I have owned this amazing product for nearly two years and it works great. Allows me to tuck my components into the cabinet and still control the AT&T UVerse DVD player and Onkyo receiver with any of my remotes. The company also stands behind their products. I sent them an email as I thought the unit wasn't working. They called me within minutes. It turns out I just didn't have the emitter pointed at the eye for the DVD player. Once I repositioned the emitter it was up and working. The nice thing is that they assured me that if it was actually not working they would immediately ship me another one even though it is two years old.
Works as promised I've purchased this product 3 times now for 3 different units 2 different homes and have been completely satisfied with them all. Some reviewers have indicated delays with certain equipment particularly the DirecTv units with which I also had some initial challenges. However the trick for this is to place the emitter away from your flatscreen TV to reduce interference like to the side well underneath or behind the screen yet still in line of sight. Support is outstanding including free replacement of the sticky pads for the IR emitters. Easy setup works well overall great bang for your buck.
HOT LINK PRO. Easy set up. Works great. I'm using Hot Link Pro with a 55inch Visio LCD fluorescent edge lighting not LED edge lighting TV a DirecTV satellite receiver a Panasonic BlueRay/DVD/CD player and a Magnavox VHS/DVD/CD player. The TV is mounted high on a living room wall the other three components are in a closet in the next room and are connected to the TV by three highspeed HDMI cables through a 21/4 hole in the wall behind the TV and into the next room's closet. The TV's power cord also goes through that hole as do the Hot Link cables. Absolutely nothing is visible in the living room except what appears to be a wireless TV on the wall. The Hot Link's eye is located entirely behind the TV so is not visible at allthe signal from the remotes bounces off the wall and into the eye. Works smoothly and consistently. The blue confirmation light is so tiny as to be visible only when it blinks when you press a remote button but when it blinks you can't miss it.I used this system for a week before my Hot Link Pro arrived and I had to go into the closet of the next room with the remotes to activate any feature of the DirecTV receiver the BlueRay player or the VHS player. When my Hot Link Pro arrived that all changed in a matter of a halfhour or less. Now all the remotes work perfectly from my chair in the living room. No hitches. The next step will be to get an AllinOne remote like the Logitech Harmony One. EDIT I've since discovered that my DirecTV remote can be easily programmed to operate all four of my components TV DirecTV receiver BluRay/DVD player and VHS player. It handles them all perfectly through my Hot Link Pro. So I won't be needing a new Remote.
Fantastic! It took me a little doing to get all equipment working with the Hot Link Pro but once it was set up properly I love it. I had trouble getting my ATT Uverse box Cisco IPN330HD working with the link. Last Sunday I emailed Microsmith the manufacturerabout this issue. To my surprise I got a call that evening and got the problem resolved. It seems the Cisco manual shows the IR receiver about a quarter inch to the right of where it actually is. Moving the eye just that much got it working. The tech from Microsmith told me that about half of equipment manuals indicate the wrong location of the IR receiver.I also have a Smart Home pyramid IR blaster. It has two small pyramidshaped pieces. You aim your remote at one it converts the IR to RF sends it to the other part which then converts the RF it received back to IR and blasts the equipment. The problem with this set up is that both pyramids need to be plugged into a power source the part that blasts your equipment needs to be positioned so that it can see all of the devices you want to control it only has outlets for two eyes which need to be purchased separately. If someone is standing in front of the blaster it won't work.The Microsmith Hot Link Pro has none of the above problems. Everything sits near your equipment. Only one outlet needed. It can control six devices and works behind closed doors only the receiver needs to outside of a cabinet and even then it doesn't need lineofsight. I'm going to buy another one to replace my pyramids. I have CFL bulbs in a ceiling fixture in the room and even when there is interference from the lights when they are first turned on the Hot Link still works I need to reposition the receiver to keep the blue activity light from being affected by the lights.As several other reviewers have commented the customer service from Microsmith is OUTSTANDING! They stand behind their product. If you need an IR booster/blaster buy this.
Discrete profile great IR reception Chose this product based on customer feedback and discrete profile of IR sensing eye. Hot Link system works great with my Roku box prior gen IR remote version and ATT Uverse DVR settop box despite other customer feedback on issues with the latter I had zero with my ATT box. Roku took some online forum research to find where its internal IR sensor was. You can find the internal eye in most devices by shining a flashlight into the face but Roku has a more opaque covering.Actually ran into an issue with my sensor eye cord after changing my cabinet setup. Sent an email to Microsmith Hot Link customer service on a Saturday afternoon received a phone call from someone in California home office 15 minutes later pretty awesome given it was a weekend!. We went through troubleshooting over phone with a very courteous rep and a replacement part was sent out next biz day via USPS for free. Customer service was extremely friendly and sounded committed to fixing the issue mentioned they would replace the unit entirely if the eye cord replacement option didn't work. Despite this temporary setback got the new IR cord installed easily swappable component and works great as it did prior to me moving things around. Hats off to Microsmith for excellent service and commitment to their product.
Finally! All my living room issues are solved! About a year ago I convinced my wife to let me mount our new tv on the wall and run everything attached to the TV in the closet behind that wall. I had used a well known IR repeater to accomplish this. While this did work it did not work well. The repeater often too .5 to 2 seconds to see if it actually worked when pressing the button on my Harmony One and it was a pain for any guest to use. I read quite a few good things about this system and I am glad I got it. I have hooked this up to my Xbox 360 Dish VIP 6XX and an Onkyo receiver with fantastic results! Everything is responding as if there is no wall in the way and I have it all in a clunky entertainment center as I had in the past. My family is much happier now having actual control over the TV and everything attached.
Good customer service. Stopped working after 10 minutes and only worked on 1 unit. Poor quailty. Bottom fell off receiver when unpacking and eye had a loose wire. Called customer service and they were very helpful.
Works great but a big BUT. I've had this item for probably a year now it works great once up and running and its excellent in repeating the IR signals from many angles and far distances. HOWEVER.This product seems to have an issue warming up.
