nice, This device is awesome, and it works great... as long as you don't put anything between the device and the source. Don't know why but if i stand between both thing the music just freeze. It's annoying some times but as long as you be careful of that it really works great.
Blue tooth enabler, This apparently superseded product was just what I need to add a bluetooth functionality to my TV, so my wife could read while I listened to the audio track of the latest blockbuster. Being Oz based the 110-> 4.5V transformer went into the bin, but my inveterate collecting of all things CE had a 240->4.5V transformer connected and we were cooking. Easy to connect to my bluetooth headphones. Now I have just got to work out a simple way of switching my TV speakers after plugging in to my rear mounted earphone socket on my TV. I know, I am sure Amazon can sell me something to do this...
Anything but a wise investment., I purchased the HWS-BTA2W adapter a month ago. For a while it paired well with my iphone and the music streamed continuously, now the music cuts out intermittently every once in a while. I phoned sony support about the problem, I was told this problem was normal and can be expected. Those comments won't justify the price of
the purchase, period.
Works great with Spracht Aura BlueNote, Works easily with the Spracht WS-4010 Aura BluNote Portable Wireless Speaker System with Bluetooth--Stream Music Wirelessly from Any Bluetooth Device. Both have the same bluetooth pass code (0000), and can be setup to stream right out of the box.

The only downside is that the Sony puts itself to sleep when the paired receiver disconnects or is shutdown.
Perfect for the Office, I bought this because I work in a cube and I often want to listen to music to drown out the noise in the office. I hated being tethered to my computer by my headphones. This TINY adapter fits under my monitor, syncs up instantly with my headphones, and has a relatively long range (relative to the other bluetooth adapters I've tried). Also, because it plugs into the wall, no need to worry about when the battery is gonna die, cause it won't! I can listen for 18 hours straight, its wonderful. If your looking for something to use at or around your desk, this is a MUST have.
Tried several others..this is the BEST, I was looking for a transmitter to use with my TV, and a pair of stereo bluetooth headphones that I already had. I tried several other transmitters, but they were too complicated and too hard to put into paring mode. This one just works! You simply hold the button down for 7 seconds, and do the same with the headphones, and it works every time. This is important when you're trying to get it to work while watching TV in the dark. Plus, there is zero delay in the audio so the experience of watching TV is excellent. I recommend this unit highly.
Can't get it to work with Jabra Sport, Goal was to use this with my Jabra sport cordless headphones for use on the the exercise equipment. Still unable to pair them --- both devices show they are in pairing mode, but they cannot find each other. I have an email into both Sony and Jabra for help, but not optimistic. Will update as necessary.

The Sony Bluetooth transmitter does not support HSP and/or HPA - so most newer devices will not pair. Have one if anybody wants one cheap :) Should have bought from Amazon so i could return it...
Adequate, but short range, Overall, this device functions as stated. Pairing was straightforward, and I do like how power management has been handled. The range for a powered device such as this one, is unimpressive. I have also experienced quite a bit of random signal loss when well-within the 10M range with line of sight. In the same environment, my mobile phone's bluetooth has twice the range with no loss of signal.
Very versatile if you know what you are doing..., I purchased a set of Sony DRBT50 Stereo Bluetooth Headset and bought this Sony Two-Way Bluetooth Adapter for iPod and MP3 Players to connect to my TV. It works flawlessly and is super easy to use. It connects instantly to my headphones when activated. My next project is to try and make everything work with my guitar, amp, and computer. Brand compatibility may be the key here (Sony). The combo cost me about $160 on Amazon.com and it was totally worth it! Sorry for all the plugs, but this combo works, or else I wouldn't waste my time writing this review. Forgive the grammar, I copied and pasted the product descriptions...

Metra Double Installation Multi Kit Vehicles As advertised

Close...but no cigar, I ordered this to use in a 2003 Chevy Tracker. The faceplate would not fit with the Tracker's original dashboard radio cover, but it did fit the Boss 822UA In-Dash Double-Din CD/MP3 Receiver with Front Panel AUX Input, USB, SD Card that I was putting in the Tracker. Not using the mounting kit faceplate was no big deal.
chevy 95 to 09 installations kit, This kit has it all, Installed mine in a chevy van and it worked like a charm. Good quality bracket, hardware and manual included. Shows you step by step directions.
Metra, Face Plate did not fit, it was too small for the Pyle Pldd75bg 7 in. double din for my 2005 express cargo van. Check the Metra site and it said this kit was for my van. Only used the side mounts to hold the pyle in the dash.
Good for 99-06 GMC Sierra ...but brittle/flimsy, I used this product to install a Kenwood DNX6960 (double-din) head unit into a 2004 GMC Sierra. The instructions were easy to follow, the product did its job well, and I now have a clean/professional installation in my truck.

Update:
Three weeks after installation I had to remove my head-unit to do some under dash work.
Good for Chevy Coloroado 07, This mounting kit worked well for the JVC Double DIN HD I installed in My Colorado. It took a couple of reads through the manual as it is not extremley detailed. To understand the mounting take your time and inspect the factory mounting. You have to remove a number of the plastic tabs from the side mounts it did fit well and secure once screwed in. Note Removing the faceplate on the Colorado to access the stereo was easy, look for it on you tube.
Doesn't fit 2006 Isuzu Ascender, Bought this adapter for my new head unit in my 2006 Isuzu Ascender and it didn't fit. It also doesn't fit together properly, but even if it did, it still wouldn't fit. Waste of $15.
As advertised, This installation kit worked out fine installing a Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD 7" In-Dash Double-DIN DVD AV Receiver with iPod/iPhone Control, Pandora head unit in my 2003 Yukon XL Denali. Only reason I did not give it five stars is the directions are a bit lacking. They are definitely geared towards people who are already experienced installing stereos (I've done about 15 in my life), not the first timer. The guide book leads you all over the book, from one section to another and is not intuitive. Also, the picture that shows you which tabs to remove for your vehicle is poor. It is very difficult to tell in the small black and white drawing what is what. In my case all but 2 or 3 of the tabs needed to be removed, or cut off the side brackets. It doesn't tell you how to do this, but a set of wire cutters should do the trick- they didn't need to be perfectly flush in my case. Also one of the tabs was not needed but was not indicated for removal. In fact the left bracket in the image only had two arrows but required about 8 or 9 tabs to be removed. Recommend you look at your dash before cutting and match their picture with what mounting holes you have available- measure twice cut once.
Cheap plastic junk, I bought this after looking at the price of the Scosche GM1590AB and the price of this. At half the price, I figured no big deal...

I just ordered the Scosche model because this one broke during installaion. The break-off tabs broke off. Don't waste your money. Get the Scosche product and save your time.
